Scholarship Eligibility

Below are the basic criteria we look for in scholarship applicants. You can still apply even if you don't meet every requirement; each application is reviewed individually.

Who can apply?

  • Turkish citizens studying in Turkey
  • Students enrolled in high school, an associate, bachelor's or graduate program
  • Continuing students with a sufficient GPA
  • Applicants whose family income confirms financial need

How Does the Application Process Work?

    Complete the scholarship application form below in full and submit it. Your application is saved in our system instantly.

    Initial review

    We look at your academic standing, financial need and personal statement together. This stage takes about 5 to 10 business days.

    Documents and interview

    Applicants who pass the initial review are asked for documents, followed by a short phone or online interview.

  4. 4

    Decision and payment

    Decisions are sent by email and text message. The scholarship is deposited into the student's account monthly throughout the academic year.

Scholarship Application FAQ

When can I apply?

Applications are open year-round. They are reviewed together in the first week of each month, so applications submitted in the last days of a month may roll over to the next cycle.

Is there an application fee?

No. Applying for the Türk SEM Grup scholarship is completely free. Students and families are never asked to pay anything at any stage of the process.

I already receive a scholarship from another organization. Can I still apply?

Yes, you can. Receiving a student loan or another scholarship doesn't prevent you from applying, but it is taken into account when assessing financial need.

What documents do I need?

You don't need to upload anything at first. If you pass the initial review, we'll ask for proof of enrollment, a transcript and an income statement by email.

When will I hear back?

The initial review takes about 5 to 10 business days. The final decision, including the interview stage, is sent within 30 days of your application date at the latest.

I'm a high school student. Can I apply?

Yes. High school, associate, bachelor's and graduate students can all apply. Just select your education level on the form.
