Preserving the Internet's Memory: Türk SEM Grup Supports Archive.org
We imagined a world without Archive.org, the memory of the global internet, and it scared us. Could all the work we've done one day simply disappear? We have produced truly valuable data, and we want it to remain part of humanity's memory.
At Türk SEM Grup, we believe the knowledge humanity has worked so hard to create must be preserved, and we support Archive.org, the project that records the internet. That is why Türk SEM Grup has made a donation to the Internet Archive.
Since 1999, our group has launched highly valuable portals that have been read hundreds of millions of times. With the rise of AI, we shut down some of our information portals, and whenever we needed something, the Archive was always there, having preserved many of our portals in full. It has always been ready to share its knowledge with us freely. After 27 years, I asked myself: how long will this valuable data remain there?
To keep it going, we invite everyone to donate to the Internet Archive. The best way in the world to pass on what happened in the past to future generations is to keep it permanently online.
